Okay, the last one was 'Describe what you would pick for your last meal....'
For my last meal, I would want a bean and cheese burrito with sour cream, a chicken enchilada, beans, rice, iced tea, and FLAN!!! There must be flan... Definitely. Hahaha.

My fave color would be the generic blue. I can't help it! It's so pretty! I can't stand light, sky blue, though, only dark, midnight blue. It's so gorgeous. Describe your right hand. (Random, much? )

Actually interesting you should pick that. At work tonight we were so bored that we literally had a conversation about my right hand. lol
My nails don't grow as fast on my right hand as on my left. I theorize that this is due to it being my dominant hand so I use it the most when signing, writing, driving, and everything really.
I have really strange thumbs. When I lay my hands down on the table with my fingers together, my thumbs are naturally at a 90 degree angle from my fingers, but I can extend that to 135 degrees, which bothers people. What bothers them more is that I can bend my thumb backwards so it is flush with my forearm. lol
My right ring finger curves toward my middle finger and it is really obvious.
I wear a silver ring on my right middle finger (which was the reason for the work convo) that is simply a piece of heavy metal wire that has been bent to read "Laura" in cursive writing. They were joking that it was like signing my John Hancock every time I flip someone off (which, for the record, never happens if I'm angry only when I am joking, and then rarely).
Let's see, what else? ... Um I have two scars from burns I got while cooking (one on my oven rack at home, the other on an oven rack at work). I also have a scar that looks like the mouth of a smiley face, something I never would have thought of if my dad hadn't had one just like it.
That is a lot to say about a right hand. lol Well picked LB.

At this moment it is tangled as I just woke up and has bits of grass and leaves still in it as I was lying on the ground in a field all yesterday.
In an hour or so, when I have washed it, it will be...
Blonde (not natural, it's really a mousey very dull colour) just past my shoulders and qiute fine. (I really wish I had thick curly hair) It gets all frizzy the moment I step outside unless I have straightened it, god I love ghd's. So I usually wear it twisted up into a clip.

My earliest memory would be..
My grandparents taking me and my twin, and our other sister Ashley, to church when we were in Florida, and I snuck my pet snails (we had this plant on the balcany of my grandparents condo, and I used to collect snails and let them live in the plant) into the church in my pocket, because I was always really restless in church... but when I came out I started crying, and my grandpa asked me why and I replied "I lost Snaily!!!" And in my hand I only had two snails, and I had brought three into the church. So my grandfather just started laughing while my grandmother just said that I shouldn't have brought them into the church because it wasn't very polite. And then I asked if God would be angry at me, and she said, "No, He's probably laughing right now with your grandfather."
Um... describe your favourite highschool memory.

I think your Grandma was right about that, Cody. lol My favorite high school memory. Hmm, actually I had a lot of good ones. I guess I will go with my senior prom. When Adam gets home and sets up his scanner, I'll have to put that picture up. Adam was two years behind me in school (though he is only 51 weeks younger, he's old for his class and I'm young for mine) so he couldn't go to prom with me. Instead, I went with my group of friends. Matt, Katie #1, Yolanda aka Lana, Amber, Sarah, and Sarah's boyfriend at the time. Matt didn't have a date (this was before he came out, so he was a bit touchy about dating) so he took Katie, Lana, Amber and I and called himself a pimp. We went to dinner at Olive Garden and laughed the whole time. Then we went to the dance and laughed some more. I think I danced with all the girls and Matt a few times. We all joked around about Sarah, the braniac (she got a 36, which is perfect, on the ACT and missed perfection on the SAT by 1 question), dating a felon (because he literally stole over 10,000 dollars of stuff from Best Buy while he was working there and was caught and had to serve time). We laughed about some of the ridiculous dresses and tuxes people had worn. We talked about where we were headed. It was just an awesome time. We were the only group that stayed till the very end and so we chatted with all the teachers and principals who were chaperoning. (Seriously, we were the nerds of the school. Who else would spend so much time with the chaperones, making sure they had a good time. lol) We were also about the only people who did not take alcohol into the dance, so when we left at midnight, we were the only ones still sober. My feet were killing me so Matt gave me a piggyback ride to the parking lot (yes, in a prom dress) and we found out later that the teacher we had for Algebra our Sophmore year was convinced the two of us were drunk and shocked that we would be. lol Then we went back to Amber's, I think, and changed for After Prom. That involved more eating and more laughing. Then we went home and crashed, only to get up for breakfast the next day. Describe your most embarrassing moment.

Well... I have two that are connected...
My most embarassing one would the day that I found my ex boyfriend was cheating on me with my best friend at the time in the middle of grade 10 (that'd be... 2005). It seemed that our entire grade knew, except for me, everyone that I hung out with, and Crys, of course. And my other friends were just starting to help me realize that I shouldn't be embarassed, it wasn't really my fault, that it was their fault really, Crys decided to beat the crap out of the guy. Don't get me wrong, I love Crys to death, and part of me is SO HAPPY that he didn't come to school for two days and when he did come back, he still had a black eye. But really. I can handle myself, and I don't need her to do things for me!
Okay.... Describe a favourite course you took in high school. (I go back to school tomorrow, so I'm all hopped up on high school moments -- It's my last year too!!)

Has to be science. I still love it now, and I want to do biology at uni. And I loved my biology teacher I had for 3 years. I hated my science set in the last two years, but they were weirdly okay in biology. In the first year when she sat us in boy-girl seats no one spoke for about 6 months. And then we started to click and it was ACE. We just used to have a laugh and conversations across the class.
The same in physics, I had the lesson twice a week for the last term of my final year and me, Rosie, Jacqueline, Kate and Emma spent all the lessons discussing and organising prom. And our teacher never used to mind, we used to move to sit next to each other and make seating plans, and do no work. He'd tell others off for moving and just ignore us.
And in our last biology lesson my wonderful teacher bought us all sweets and ice cream and made us cups of ice cream full of maltesers and chocolate sauce.
Yayness! I hope they do it at A2.

I feel quite a few things at once now:
A little depressed because i went to see "Infamous" about Truman Capote in the cinema and that was just so, so, so depressing. Very happy, because i just came home and was cuddled by the main man and tired - very tired, for i have hardly slept in two days... But i expect Sprinks knows all about that.

At a wedding. Yup. Okay, so here's the story. My little cousin, who's... eight now, was six at the time. He was sitting in the second pew (I'm pretty sure that's not spelled right...), and I was up with my two other cousins, Cody, and our little sister Ashley - we were the bridesmaids. So while my aunt was making her vows, my six year old cousin started making faces at me. I'm never one to turn down a challenge, so I started off. We were making the most hilarious faces at each other, when suddenly, he crossed one eye (ONLY ONE) and stuck his tongue out at me, while blowing his cheeks. Excuse me, but I started laughing my butt off right when my new uncle started saying his vows. It was hilarious. But nobody else seemed to think so, because my little cousin saw that he might get into trouble, and started sitting there quietly like an angel. The little bugger. lol. That would be about 10 minutes ago while I was on the phone with my best friend, Ann. We were talking about our weekends, since we haven't chatted for a few days. I was telling her about our sermon on Sunday which was about blessings and being blessed. Her minister is doing a series about the gifts of the spirit and was talking about miraculous healings. Ann had brought her dance partner (they are prepping to start competing in ballroom dance) to church and on the way home he said that he didn't believe in speaking in tongues, which is a gift of the spirit. This made me start to giggle because Ann has a prayer language. So then she tells me that she told him that she believed in that one and about the prayer language. She ended the story by saying...
"So, L J, you don't have to worry and pray about him possibly being attracted to me now because that ship has sank. As in the Titantic."
then we both said together...
"I'll never let go."
and began to cackle. It was hilarious for some reason. lol

And I wish that my parents weren't divorced and that they didn't fight through me (because Ashley and Crys are the only ones that can tell them to shove it). But mostly I wish I was never in an accident, just because then they'd fight less now.

My favourite toy as a child was probably these 5/6 dolls that all fit into this huge bed and you had to match up their colours and the blanket. I learned my colours with that, I am told. As an older child I much prefered to spend hours reading. I read the big bumper collection of The Faraway Tree Stories by Enid Blyton over and over and over so much it was falling apart. And when mum was giving it away to a charity shop I reread it one last time before she did, about 2 years ago I loved Enid Blyton books. Describe what last made you smile.

It was a Maggie film too...
Called Curtain Call. She and Michael Caine played ghosts. They were a couple who did mothing but bicker. A young man (played my James Spader who I used to have a huge crush on) moved into their old house and somehow they ended up helping him get back together with the girl of his dreams. Ok, so that is a terrible summary)
I liked best the chemistry between Maggie and Michael Caine, they just seem to bounce off each other like a real old married couple. (any Maggie fam who hasn't seen them in California Suite should do so immediately...lol) I was looking forward to James Spader but I was a bit disapointed with him and don't get me started on his girlfriend. I also liked that although at first the film seemed to be about the younger couple, for me anyway, it seemed to be about the older couple and how they rediscovered their love. It was just so cute...

It starts out slow, so slow my friends didn't want to read it, but I forced them. It is heartwrenching, beautiful, and you think it is going to end incredibly badly, until at the last moment it doesn't. Suddenly all that heart break, angst, and those tears are worth it for one shining moment of perfect happiness. I love it. I have read and reread it again and again. I am working on an adaptation of it that will probably never see the light of day. If I ever wrote something that wonderful, I would die a very happy woman. It's Persuasion by Jane Austen, my favorite of her books.

It's a camp song... SURPRISE!!! lol I am always singing a song from church camp. It's called the 50s Love Round and ithe lyrics come from Romans, but I can't tell you chapter and verse at the moment. You sing it as a group once and then split into a round. The second stanza is pretty legato so it fits the same beats. You end on "Do"s to the tune of the song till everyone is done and it is a fun, cute song. Love the Lord your God With all your heart and all your soul and all your mind and love all mankind (now they sing humankind to be pc) the way you love yourself. Love the Lord your God With all your heart and all your soul and mind and love mankind We've got Christian lives to live We've got Jesus Christ to give We've got nothing to hide because in Him we abide! I was just dancing around the camp office while I dust and singing it at the top of my lungs! Describe your favorite teacher/professor/instructor.

hmm. It was a long, long time ago but I have to say Mrs Spriggs who was my form tutor from age 11 to 17. She was a bit of a hippy who rode a motorbike and drunk in the same pub as us when we were older. She was very chilled out and just winked when we came in late (with obvious hangovers) in the mornings. That aside she was very supportive of us all and really wanted us to do well. She was so proud of us when we got our exam results.

My best birthday had to be my 11th birthday. It was the last one before my dad died and I was still living with him. I invited every girl in my class, so there were 20 of us there plus my brother and his friend. Looking back I don't know how he did that. lol My rabbit got out of its cage and my dad was chasing it around the house all night. I hate cake so my dad made strawberry shortcake with whipped cream for all of us. We had a slumber party and stayed up late telling ghost stories and scaring each other. It was a great time.

I've got too many to pick just one... My plaid dress, my black dress.... But if I could only choose just one, I suppose I would have to say my plaid dress with two buckles, one on either side, and thick straps that buckle. And two cords, one on each side, that ties. It is an awesome dress.... When I get the chance, I shall post a pic in the pics section.

Well let's make a list, shall we? lol.
1) This morning I came in off the bus to school, and my friend Dan was sitting in the caf with everybody, but he had a tensor bandage around his wrist. So I asked him what happened. He wouldn't tell me, and I have no idea why I thought this was so funny, but my mind when dirty, and I started laughing my butt off. I fell off the bench, and one of my friends, Hillary came up and asked me why I was laughing so hard. and I was like, Guess how Dan hurt his wrist? and it took her a second, but then she was like "well this one time, he was looking at a picture of Carmen Electra..." and that sent us both off... naturally whenever we saw him we started laughing and crying. Just because Dan is really the sweetest guy, and someone who I would NEVER think would... ah, nevermind. If you haven't gotten it yet, you're done.
2) Two words: Medieval Times. We went with our History class last year, and we were so happy to be there!! The knights were SO HOT too. Anyway, first we got a picture of me about to throw our metal plate like a frisbee towards the "stage". After the show we were stalking the Yellow knight when our teacher came up and said "ladies, you know he's too old for you right?" and Hillary was like "he's only like... 10 years older than us!" and I don't remember why I thought that was so funny. And then we caught our history teacher talking to our knight (he was also pretty sexy too) and she was about to walk away, when he kneeled down and kissed her hand. Well, naturally, the guys started going off cat calling and whistleing and yells of "MS. MCCABE!!" lol. it was priceless.
3) When Cody got into her car accident in March, she had to do physio. The person came to our house, and got up so she would see that Cody's movement was still okay... anyway the girl asked Cody if Cody could hold out her hand, palm up. Well... okay I don't know if you'll understand because it's best shown.. but instead of holding her arm out, inner elbow and palm up, she twisted her arm, so her elbow was up, and her wrist was twisted, but yes, her palm was up... OMG IT WAS THE FUNNIEST THING EVER. I was on the floor laughing at her.
There are sooo many other things I could say, but I'm not going to because I've got to go to the movies!!
ta ta! Crys. Oh.

Well my only pets that were actually mine have either commited suicide or were homicidal or both, but I will tell you about them. lol
When I moved to Columbus I bought my first pet that was all mine, an African Dwarf frog named Munch. I realize now that may have been my first mistake, naming him Munch, but I loved the Law and Order character and he was so cute when he ate because he would swim at the food full steam and then bite around it like it would get away otherwise.
Shortly after I bought Munch, I bought a beta fish named Big Red. He was named that because he was big and red, so creative, but it is also the nickname Alan Coulter (probably spelled wrong), the announcer from the Late Show with David Letterman, gives himself when he is being "sexy." lol Big Red and I did not get along from the first day I brought him home. At first he wouldn't eat, then he tried to commit suicide 2 times, jumping out of the top of his bowl. The first time I was right there, the second time he knocked the top I had placed over it off before falling to the floor. My roomate found him while he was still alive, but he was never the same after that and the 3rd time he was successful.
Which brings us back to Munch. I wanted to get him a friend and I really do love frogs. I went to the pet store and they assured me that in my 3 gallon tank, the two frogs would be fine together.
Let's all take a moment to laugh at stupid advice you get from the pet store people.
Lenny was adorable. By this time, I'd had Munch about 5 months and Lenny was half his size. The little guy was so cute and he would actually swim to the surface and let me pet him. He was my favorite frog so I named him for one of my favorite actors, Jerry Orbach and specifically his Law and Order (it was a theme) character Lenny Brisco.
Munch and Lenny did not like each other. When I woke up that first morning Lenny was missing a foot. Needless to say I was pissed at Munch and put him in a water glass while I called the pet store. They suggested I put them in the same water but barricade them off since Munch was being territorial, but it would pass once he was used to Lenny.
Let's laugh again.
I actually saw Munch bite Lenny through plastic. That is when I decided to seperate them for good. I put Lenny in Big Red's old bowl, which ended up not being a good idea since he then jumped out while I was on vacation and my roomate was watching him and crawled away somewhere. I never found his body which was disturbing, but he was rather traumatized after the missing foot thing.
So then I was left with Munch, the evil homicidal frog.
About this time, one of my roomates wanted to get a dwarf hamster. I ended up going to the store and buying one with her. He was a cute little hamster who was fat and happy. I named him Dimitri, for some odd reason. My friend named hers George. Dimitri was not a happy hamster from the time I brought him home. He was fine in the store, but from then on he would bite me constantly. George was sweet and friendly and you could take him out and play with him. Heather bought him one of those balls and he would roll all over our house. It was adorable. Dimitri would just sit in it and look angry. Then came the fateful morning when I came down stairs because I heard screeching. Dimitri seriously had George pinned and was holding him by the throat with his teeth.
Needless to say we released Dimitri to the wild later that day.
So then I was still left with Munch, who by this time was rather big and grouchy. He ended his life by jumping out of the tank while my cousin was feeding him because I was on vacation. Eric says he went under my dresser, then when he couldn't find Munch, Eric pulled my dresser out and literally tore my room apart looking for the silly frog. We never did find him either.
Moral of the story, I'm not good with pets. lol
Tell me about your favorite holiday memory.

Omg! I had a beta fish, and he commited suicide too!!!
Okay. My favourite holiday memory? Um....
Does camp count? I was away for a while, and yea I had to take care of some little kids, but it still felt like a vacation from my family!! lol. I'm going just going to use this memory anyway.
So I bunked with three other girls who I had never met before, and we were the girl Junior Counsellors (who are highly underappreciated since the kids who get homesick at 2 in the morning don't want to wake up their counsellors, they want to wake up us). So after about a month of getting to know each other, on the last day I came in from reading the smaller girls a bedtime story, and we decided we were bored. It was only about 10 pm, and the kids were asleep, and the counsellors were putting the final touches on the Special Activity that we were doing tomorrow (I think it was a Disney theme, and they made me put on Peter Pan tights. I wanted to murder them).
So one of the girls was like "hey, we could go down to the river." There was a river about a 10 minute walk from the lodge that was really beautiful and yummy (Yes I did drink it. Don't give me that face).
and I replied "and do what? go skinny dipping?"
Yes. We did.
The other girls were like "..... do you want too?!" and we got all excited and grabbed our towels and headed out, in the dark, with no lights. when we got there we took turns undressing and jumping in. Yes, it was probably very juvenile, but VERY FUN.
Um... Describe you favourite candy.

Ah that is an easy one. I would tithe 10% to Camp Christian. I would pay off Adam and I's school loans, which would be a hefty chunk. I would buy us both nicer cars and a nearly-new car for my grandparents and my mom. I would put some aside for a college fund for my goddaughter, godson, and nephew and my future children. I would put a lot into some kind of CD or something. THen I would take a few weeks of vacation and end in England where I would pay for my internet friends (and Adam, Ann, Zak, and I) to gather. It would be awesome! What is one passion you have that you hide from others.
