Laura your pet post just made me laugh and cry and really want to hug you and I feel all emotional.
My earliest memory... I always struggle with the question because then I have to think about dates and sometimes one of my parents will talk about something and I'll remember it but then I'll forget that I remember it. Anyway. The earliest I can think of is being in my old house with my mum and my sister and I was 4 years old, and mum was making us some sandwiches and I asked her was I going to school today. And I remember I always used to ask her because everyone was always like 'Oh are you nearly 4? You'll go to school when you're 4' and since I was born in October I'm one of the oldest in my school year and it was obviously months until I would actually go to school. In fact, I was almost 5.

I choose the campground, since I am here and it feels like one big yard with pavement thru it at times like this when there are only a couple campers here. First of all it is green. Very Very Very Green. The rain we had helps, but being this close to Grand Lake St. Marys ensures that we always have green grass, until it is too cold, and even then sometimes it is green, just frozen and green. The trees are turning all sorts of colors and they are beautiful, but my favorite two are right behind my building. The first is a beautiful Buckeye tree. It is probably 30-40 feet tall and perfectly shaped. Seriously it looks like someone drew it's shape. The branches and leaves form a nearly round ball from a distance and the trunk is a bit gnarled, but perfect for the tree. I love to sit under it for lunch in the spring and early summer. Then in late summer, I pick buckeyes off the ground and give them to my friends so they can make Buckeye necklaces (to cheer on the Ohio State Buckeyes of course). It is pretty when it changes colors, but the leaves fall very fast, which brings me to my second favorite tree. The red maple behind it. Once all the leaves have fallen from the Buckeye, I get to enjoy its bright colors for the rest of the fall. Describe your favorite room of your house, or someone's house.

What is a buckeye tree? we must call them something different.
My favourite room ewould have to be my bedroom, mainly because it has my bed in it. It is the most comfortable bed in the world. :-) It is also the quietest room in my flat as it is facing away from the road. It has 2 large windows so is really sunny but somehow manages to still be cool most of the time. The walls aew painted blue and my bedding is blue as well, nice and relaxing. The only furnature apart from the bed is a wardrobe and small wooden table, it is actually a very small room so not much else would fit in anyway, but I love it all the same.
Describe your favourite piece of music.

Okay so call me sentimental and a bit nuts, but it would have to be Carmen, Ohio. I'm not sure this is what you had in mind Jaye but this is what I cam up with. There are several reasons for this song, Ohio State's Alma Mater, to be my favorite but I will try to keep this short. First it is just a pretty tune. It is also the tune for Come, Christian Join and Sing, a hymn I loved as a child. Between church and around the house I was probably as familiar with that as I was Jesus Loves Me. Second, it brings back lots of awesome memories. Like learning to sing the tenor line so we could sing it in four part harmony as we walked back to our hotel across the Charles Bridge in Prague at sunrise. Standing in my boyfriend's living room on a cold January night in 2002 as we watched our football team win the national championship and wrapping my arms around my friends as we sang along with the team. Another championship this past january that didn't end so well, but still found us singing to our Ohio State. The many football games Adam and I have attended and watched together over the years which always end with us singing and swaying to the band playing, often with tears in my eyes after a great game. Three years of singing in the Choral as a lead alto and singing the song at each concert we gave. Singing the hymn each sunday that followed a game day when Ohio State played my pastor's alma mater. Standing on the field in the Shoe (AKA The Horseshoe or Ohio Stadium where our football team plays) preparing to sign the Star Spangled Banner and singing it to myself as I was overwhelmed with a sense of awe and tradition. And many many more. Carmen Ohio has been a part of my life since the beginning of it. Finally I would have to say that it is my favorite because it is very powerful. Just the beginning notes bring over 105,000 people to their feet and silence each football saturday. It brings people together and you find yourself putting your arms around the shoulders of people you don't even know simply because you know they are Buckeyes. It is an awesome feeling. Here are the lyrics and the history of the song. Just scroll down. On the left there is a link to listen to it too. www.coachtressel.com/tradition/carmen_ohio.aspOh and Jaye, here is info on the buckeye tree... www.buckeyetree.net/ and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohio_BuckeyeDescribe something you are happy about that happened today.

Today one of the stupid things I did was twice spill ice tea all over my aunt's frig. She has a sun tea jug that has a spicket at the bottom. You push the rubber peice at the top of the spigot down and then the tea comes out. Well I pushed it too far somehow and tea was coming out the top and the bottom and going everywhere because of course it was a full jug. It was so bad. lol I had to put it on its side and run it into the kitchen (because they have a separate beverage frig out on the porch) because then it was leaking out the top. Honestly it was ridiculous and funny. I was laughing so hard I couldn't tell them what had happened. lol Then about an hour later I went to refill my glass and somehow didn't have the glass under the spigot completely and spilled tea on the frig and floor again. lol I nearly peed my pants laughing at myself. I really am an idiot at times, but at least I clean up after myself and am quick on my feet. Describe something you did that you are proud of.

I feel like I have done this before, but maybe not here. Anyway... My favorite book starts off a little slow, but with much angst and heartache. It continues to go downhill for the character though she tries to push through the pain and make the most of things. The writing is beautiful and the story is addictive, but at the same time it hurts me when I think of how strongly she must feel everything and how strong she is to not let it show. Then, at the last moment, when all hope seems to be surely lost and you simply know it will end it tears, it doesn't! And it is beautiful and happy and you nearly want to cry again, but this time with joy because you know how hard won the happiness was. It is a breathtaking story and will continue to be my favorite for many years to come, I'm sure. My favorite book is Persuasion by Jane Austen. Describe your hero.

Ah, i couldn't let this one pass by - but sure enough i don't stand alone in my hero-worshipping in this case.
I really mean it when i say this man is my hero.
He is very intelligent. Brave. Loving. Daring. Upstanding, a great contribution to his society. He is looked up to and has many loyal friends. He knows the strength of love and the truth behind anger. He fights for good and dares to admit to being vulnerable. He works hard and relies on others for help. He isn't afraid to show himself, but isn't afraid to admit that he too makes mistakes. Besides that he is tall and handsome and i find him strangely attractive. That may be because it is easy to shape him into something you want him to look like.
Oh you have guessed it, haven't you?
It's Albus Dumbledore!

Ooh I love this one...
My dream job consists of working wherever I like, such as from home, and traveling. It involves being watched by the public, but not as closely as an actor or singer might be. This way, I can have SOME semblance of privacy. My dream job pays me enough so that I do not have to go to an office wearing nice clothes or such. What is my dream job you may ask? Well it is obviously what keeps you guys talking to me.
My dream job is being an author. (although I don't know if I am ever going to be one cuz that involves people BUYING my books. LOL)

Well she said creative... My dream house would be made of cinnamon sticks and dried orange slices. It would smell delicious. It would have walk-in closets and a walk-in freezer. Sky lights everywhere possible so I could catch a lot of sun and lit only with full spectrum light bulbs. the floors would be warmed from underneath, which would make the yummy cinnamon smell even stronger during the winter and be perfect for the holidays. What is your favorite scent and what does it make you think of?

perfect Christmas Day was in 1978 or so (I was 12) and the heat was broken in my Mom's house; my brother, sister, Mom and I had to spend the night at our grandparents where we woke up bundled on couches with the Christmas tree lit up. lol that sounds awesome Di! Most of the stories I have written for Fil and Mona have been inspired, sadly, by real life events between Adam and I. My Fil and Mona really are Adam and I. lol Even stories that have nothing to do with anything that has happened to us will still have little moments of us. I'm pathetic I know. But in general for fics, my ideas come from any- and everywhere! My first fanfic was based on a reoccurring dream starring Rosemary Clooney. Since then I have written things that came to me when I read a certain quote, heard a song, saw a picture, or often when I am reading something someone else wrote, fanfic or otherwise. I really have no simple way to come up with anything. My muse is Albus, with a few too many hot cocoas and lemon drops under his belt. Describe your all time favorite present.

I have two favourite presents. 1) I got to see my little cousins on Chrismas Day!! All four of them!! Usually I don't get to see them all, or I have to see them on different days, but this year my parents worked it out so that I could see them all. and all of them are under the age of 12 and three of them are girls, who are the sweetest girls I have ever met! I love them all so much!! 2) In my school we have a course called Peer Tutoring, and all you do basically is meet once a week for the actual class, and the rest of the week go to your placement, which is another class in the school that you help the teacher and the students do their work for. Anyway, my placement class was with my favourite teacher of all time, and she knew I wanted to be a teacher as well, so we kind of bonded over that, and the fact that I want to major in the same things that she majored in (really weird). So for Christmas, she got me a present to basically say thank you, and I was expecting chocolates or something, but instead she gave me this BEAUTIFUL jewlary box that was the size of my palm, and heart shaped. it had this antique design on the lid, but it wasn't old, which is a design I love! It just really meant a lot to me to get a really beautiful present from her. Describe the worst present ever given to you.

This is hard for me because I love so many of my teachers. Still I will pick just one.
One of the best profs I have had at Ohio State was Dr. Leslie Alexander. She is a historian who specializes in African American history, especially the Underground Railroad. She is brilliant, but more than that she is a great teacher who makes you want to ask questions and know more. She isn't satisfied with you just knowing the material, she wants you to question it and understand it. I would love to be like her someday.

My least favorite teacher was Mrs. Lentz, a reading teacher I had in the eighth grade. She disliked me and I did horrible in her class. I think it might have been the fact that I hated the speed reading courses we had to take to improve our reading skills. I really disliked that machine that highlighted the sentences and controlled what you read. You could only read the lighted sentence and then once it went on you coouldn't go back. Therefore, you only read 2 words per line, was I suppose to comprehend the whole thing in a matter of 2 seconds?? Can we say reading Gestapo? heh. His name is Salvo. He lives in Sicily, and I live in Northern Italy, so I haven't met him for ten years or so. He is two years younger than me, he is clever, quite handsome, and if he was not my cousin I could have fallen in love with him. He taught me to appreciate writers (e.g. S.S. Van Dine and Conan Doyle) that I didn't know at that time, and songs I still like to recall... We used to walk late at night along the seaside and talk a lot. We have cried watching movies together like two children. Sooo beautiful memories!

Hmmm... Dream wedding... Really honestly, my dream wedding would be Adam and I having a teeny tiny wedding with like 10 people in the parlor at my church. I would wear a simple white dress and he would wear his brown suit. Then going away for a week or so to drive along the East Coast. When we got back we would have a huge party with everyone who would have been at our wedding if we had one. Equally as unlikely to happen would be this scenario: Getting married at the Horseshoe, Ohio State's football stadium. Everyone would dress like they were going to game. I would walk down the aisle (we would get married in the South Endzone, facing the big board) to Carmen Ohio and leave to the fight song. We would have our reception in the grassy area by Mirror Lake and have pictures in front of Orton Hall, Thompson Library, in the 'Shoe, and by the Lake. It would be awesome. So now we are at my dream wedding #3 (the one that won't mean alienating most of my family and that won't cost more than we make in several years), which is the most likely. lol We would get married in October at our church with our associate minister doing the ceremony. I will still have my simple white dress, but this time there would be bridesmaids in pale green dresses and the boys would all be in brown suits with pale green ties. The girls would carry fall flowers and the church would be decorated in the same. The dry reception (too many alcoholics including the best man, so we have already decided we don't want to encourage their drinking) would be at the other end of the church in the Family Life Center. Chances are (as there usually is) there would be an OSU game that day, so the game would have to be playing somewhere. Dancing would be a must. Food will be Adam and I things that most people wouldn't want at a wedding, subs, cookies, etc. More picnic-y stuff. Then we would leave on our trip East. Describe your favorite way to exercise (or which way you hate least).

Now, that is a tough one! Okay - i love to dance and i love to shop. Walking for hours must be regarded as sports i think. If you do not count either of these (and i don't mean ballroomdancing!) - then i must admit to 'liking' Pilates and i would love to go back to aerobics again, if only they were teaching it in the vicinity. I am not going to ride my bike for six miles to go to aerobics. The cycle would be enough excersise i think Describe your parent(s)

Well, you asked for it....
My mother is a strange mix of a lot of European blood, but mostly German. She is very outgoing and has a contagious laugh. She was originally a blond, but has dyed her hair so many times from when I was young that I'm not sure if it is still blond. She is about five foot six, I would say, and loves the world. She works for the Superior Courts here in Riverside and is someone I can always go to if I need to talk about certain things. We love and respect each other and she trusts me to do what is right for me. She supports me in my aspirations to be a novelist, though she does keep me grounded when she reminds me that not everyone can make it right out of the shoot.
My dad is a lot like me, only a man, obviously. That was stupid to say. LOL. Well he is a short Mexican man who is very quiet, doesn't like a lot of noise, but loves getting lost in a crowd. Both he and I love reading, though he is more of a history buff whereas I go for fiction. He loves to read about the Free Masons and anything and everything to do with our countries history. He also loves to see new things. He was all excited when he went to New York and Puerto Rico, and is equally excited to go with us to Kauaii in a few weeks. He also loves going to garage sales and supports me not only emotionally, but occasionally financially, when he is able to do so.
I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!
Ahem... Yeah...
