The weather here has been quite awful and i have been so very busy, Today Daylight saving started, so that is the true start of spring for me. Also, the second day of a whole day of sunshine! I hope to be here a lot more from now on!
March has always been famous for the most tempestuous weather and this year was no exception. Outside the rain was falling, but before Pomona had left her greenhouse, there had been soft flakes of snow coming down and now she could see the rain transform into harsh sleet that would probably bruise many fragile blossoms. She sighed wearily. She had to accept that there are few things that wizards can't change, but the weather was one of them.
How she longed for some sunshine on her skin. She was cold and wet and she caught a drop of water coming down from a ringlet of hair. With a tame flick of her wand, Pomona summoned a towel and her fluffy bathrobe. She cast a charm on the robe in hopes that it would warm her. It was one of the few that Filius had taught her.
Slowly Pomona undressed, unable to quickly free herself of the clinging garments. Her underrobes stuck to her vest and she cried out in frustration. All she wanted was to get out of these wet things, wildly she tried to pull the robe over her head and heard it tear at the back. With a sigh she lowered her arms and fell back in her seat. With trembling hands she took her cup and sipped slowly. The warm, amber liquid warmed her and calmed her senses.
With shaking hands she buttered a crumpet and ate it. The tea and food gave her energy, but not enough to undress herself. She poured another cup and hoped for Filius to come home soon. He would be able to free her of the clothes that held her hostage. She put on the charmed bathrobe and sat, not so patiently waiting for him.
When Filius came home, he heard a frustrated grunt coming from the bedroom and rushed to see what was going on. He found Pomona, stuck in her underrobes, stomping her foot. With a simple charm he vanished the dress.
"Filius!" Pomona sighed, happily. "I was hoping you would come."
"Not a moment too soon, either." Filius answered. "Really, you ought to have paid more attention in school when vanishing spells were taught." He winked.
Pomona smiled.
"But, my dear, what would your use be then?" she looked at him with a naughty smile.
"Perhaps... I could be your little ray of sunshine?"
Filius stood on his toes and kissed her, warming her from the lips to her core.
"That, my love, you are." Pomona answered slightly breathlessly. She took Filius hand and led him to their bed.
The next day, when they woke up, it was from the warmth of the sunshine that was streaming in through the pulled curtains.
