A/N: When I claimed Green, I had a brilliant idea for it. Which I of course, completely forgot. I know it had something to do with the greenhouses... which narrows it down so much. Anyway, tonight I ran across a quote that inspires my little drabble. Thanks for reading!
O, beware, my lord, of jealousy! It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock The meat it feeds on. William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616), "Othello", Act 3 scene 3 Just friends, she thought as she watched them laughing in the greenhouses. He worked hard on the woman’s birthday present, charming the box to play “their song” and placing the ring just so. Still, she reassured herself, he would realize his mistake. It was not until that spring day, as they kissed under an arbor of flowers that she admitted the truth. Tail in the air, she returned to the castle, wanting to make others feel miserable as well. “There you are my sweet,” Filch said, picking her up. He did not notice her gold eyes, nearly green with envy. A/N part deux: Yeah. I think this wins the award for strangest thing I have ever attempted. Sorry guys!

Peculiar i'd sasy. Very peculiar. Well-written of course, but it took me a little while to wrap my head around it. I think this one counts as 'odd' I wish you would write more of these - i like the confrontation.

To be shaken a little, to look at things with a fresh eye, to read something new. That kind of confrontation
