A/N: Not much to say except to welcome back my muse from his extended holiday to greener pastures.
“On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me…”
“Must we sing this song each year? Who would want all those birds?” Pomona moaned as the caroling continued.
“It’s more than just birds.” Filius smiled.
“I know that, but even the golden rings; what on earth would you do with five of them?”
“How about just one?” Filius asked as he slipped a hand into the pocket of his robe.
“One what? One ring?”
“This ring.”
Pomona began to cry as he slipped the ring on her finger.
“You realize we will have to sing this song every year now, right?” Filius laughed at her grimace as he kissed her.
