Title: Musicians
Genre: I think fluff. Thoughts?
Rating: All
A/N: I will post the full thing later. I wish we had made this challenge 500 words! Argh! lol Not my best. I liked the idea but it was hard to cut short.
Pomona watched, amused, as her husband tried and failed three times to extinguish the candles in their bedroom. She had to bite her lip to keep from chuckling when he threw his wand down in frustration and went around putting them out by hand.
“You’re going to have to say yes. She’s old enough to go without our permission anyway.”
Filius sat on the edge of their bed, head in his hands. “I know, but she is so young.”
Pomona ran a hand down his back and pulled playfully at the waist band of his pajamas. “We were young once, too, if you remember.”
He lay down on his side facing her and finally smiled. “Why do you think I am so worried?”
Pomona smiled suggestively as she remembered her own first trip to Amsterdam. It had certainly been a learning experience, but what she remembered most fondly was her last night in The Netherlands. They had stumbled upon an English band and a certain keyboardist in black, leather pants, who happened to support his musical dreams with winnings from dueling championships.
Needless to say, she had not been sad when the band had broken up and Filius returned to London to achieve his Masters of Charms.
She pretended to consider his question as she moved closer. “That depends; do you still have those black, leather pants?” she asked, knowing full well they were hanging in the back of their closet.
“That depends; do you still have that scrap of fabric you called a dress?”
Pomona giggled as he pulled her flush against his chest and kissed her.
Later, as they snuggled together, Pomona asked sleepily, “so tomorrow you’ll tell Daphne she can go?”
Filius sighed in resignation. “Yes, but no musicians.”
Pomona giggled again as they went to sleep.
