I just need to get this off my chest:
before i went to sleep last night, i had (for the first time) the Dutch translation of the Deathly Hallows in my hands and was reading. Everything was fine. I put the book away and got ready to go to sleep. As i lay there, waiting, i had this brilliant idea for a fic and could even hear in my mind some pieces of the conversations i would write.
When i woke up this morning, all was gone. The only thing i can remember i had thought of something to do with Albus' will.
I am soooooo frustrated with this! I finally had a good idea, for the first time in months! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

I can understand you very well. It has happened to me many times, and I know how you feel. But don't worry, a lot of other ideas will come soon!

thank you ladies -
there are some little lines stirring in my mind and there is hope of things coming back!
It helps that i have the english DH here with me now - the Dutch one i have loaned to a friend...
Elo - i think you had a lovely idea with Albus and Minerva sharing a portrait... i wish i thought of that!

It's not an original idea, I don't think. So don't credit me with it. I think others have done it before me, but it's the only way I imagine their portraits could be.
