Honestly I wanted to throw things at the screen. They had, what? 2 scenes together? and Maggie Smith barely had more than that. I was so angry!

I still haven't seen it. I think we are planning to go on wed afternoon. I had a feeling the MMADness would be sadly lacking, but I suppose it means I don't have to stop myself from shouting out awww, at awkward moments.

I hope you are sitting down.
They have two scenes together from my memory. The one where he saves Trelawney and right after Harry has the nightmare/whatever about Arthur being attacked. There isn't any other interaction between them and they don't really interact there at all! It was horrible. I was yelling at the theatre when the credits rolled and had my cell out calling Mayleene before we actually left the room.

They didn't even have the stunners or even show them trying to get rid of Hagrid!

No wheelchair.. If someone from the movies would have been there, I would have killed them.
Adam (who has not read the books) said that the last 45 min or so were great and the rest seemed choppy, which was true. Umbridge's character arc was a joy to watch for me though. She really nailed that part. I just wish they would have done more. There is probably an hour or so of deleted scenes.

Yeah, from the trailers Umbridge does seem to be perfect. But I only care about the MADDness

The movies be a-killing my favorite books. PoA was my favorite until they made the movie. Then OotP as my favorite, until now. The movies just ruin them for me.

I think I've officially decided to just not see this one. Or the remaining two. Especially not DH which, especially if Cauron does direct, will be crucified.

Yes, it will.
I really don't wanna see Gambon be all deded. On the other hand, the movies sometimes have cute shippery moments.
Plus also, popcorn. I do not see how this is a bad thing.
