We are thinking of adding to our challenge section. I, for one, love the Flash Fic challenge, but we have been talking about adding either a First Line challenge or an Unlimited Length challenge.
The First Line challenge, for those unfamiliar, would consist of a line that would then become the first of your story. That story could be as long or short as you like and any genre. An example of the line could be, "Like a whisper..." You would continue that sentence and write a fic from it.
The Unlimited Length challenge would be much like the flash fic challenge only, obviously, you could make it as short or long as you like.
We thought it would be a good idea to ask you guys what you thought, so please let us know! Thank you!

Oh, that sounds like a wonderful idea I love those types of challenge- they're always so inspiring!

I think it would be fun to 'submit' myself to all sorts of challenges. However fun the flashfics are, it is sometimes nice to do something different, because you can't do everything in 200 words - sometimes you just need more to paint the whole picture.
The first line is always fun and for unlimited - that might be a tricky one. A challenge is nicest if it is one-shot i think...

Sorry I wasn't clear, pinkie. I did mean that the Unlimited Length should be a one-shot, but that it would not have any minimum or maximum wordcount. Does that make sense?

I think all three, though I would to be fair. First line is my favourite of all challenges ever, so I'd definitely go for that one.
