Okay, hear me out (well, read) before you get all worked up.
I was watching the Oprah Winfrey show a few weeks ago and she was talking about teen girls and their self esteem. And mainly the lack of it.
It set me to thinking. I am 26. I am confident enough, but still, sometimes i need to remind myself of the good qualities i have.
That is why i started this thread. To say good things about ourselves and about each other. We are a community and we support each other in our creative qualities, why not in our life's endeavors?
So, lets try to get to 100 good things about ourselves!

6. A girl I went to church camp with, but haven't seen in over 5 years introduced me to her husband today at church as I was making my way up to the choir. She said, "Jarrod, I would like you to meet the nicest and sweetest person in the entire world," and when I laughed and begged off the compliment, she said in all seriousness, "you don't know how your kindness touches people, Laura." For some reason, this put me near tears, but it made me feel really good about myself and the impression I leave on people.

I don't know if you've read any of his work, but that is a "God wink" (find Squire Rushnell as the author, and you'll see what I mean). An unexpected little nudge from "above" that lets you know you're on the right track. 7. I'm glad most of my students trust me enough to work through time-consuming projects early in the semester that they won't see the good fruits of until the end of the term when they take their lab final!!

8. I am proud that despite the drawbacks of always being 'the strong one' I still do it, and not only because I'm scared of not being strong, but also because I want to be that person for those that matter to me.

20. If someone is my friend they can rely on me, without fail, to go out of my way for them, or do something for them. And even when they don't need what they asked me to do for them and forget to tell me that, it's genuinely okay by me. And I am proud that I can be that person.
