A/N: This was inspired by a picture taken of Barack Obama and Joe Biden earlier today. They went to Arlington National Cemetery and placed a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns. Photo 2 and 6 of 7 on the left at the top are what I went from. I just needed to do something. www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gJKgWvqj_NGE3zAYxnidI319krhgD95PPTCO3 Thank you for reading.
“Ready?” Pomona nodded and went through the door, careful not to bump against the frame. She followed Filius down the path toward the white tomb. She stumbled as they got closer. “Alright there, Mona?” Filius turned back to see the tears running down her cheeks. He took her hand and gently squeezed it. Together, they made their way to where their dear friend lay. Pomona carefully placed the memorial wreath down, its purple blossoms lit by the glow of the fairy lights Filius had charmed. Filius squeezed her hand once more. “He’d have loved it.” She smiled through the tears.

I think Albus would have loved the purple blossoms - what a sad and pretty story. Perfect for Blue Monday.

I thought you were trying not to make this a sad day. But this was sad and lovely at the same time, if that makes any sense. The purple-flowered wreath provides a beautiful picture too. Cheers, Stef =o)

Oh, dear, this was sad . . . but you conveyed a lot in very few words.
