So as you probably know by now, I turned in my two weeks at my job and now have only four days of work left. I need your advice. How do I get through these last few days? I want to kill my management and coworkers. My manager, the one who usually makes me feel better, is on vacation all week so I won't see her again. Honestly, tonight, I nearly came to the point that I was either going to walk out or kill someone. I don't want to spend the rest of my week that way. Any ideas?

*hugs Mona*
Do not, I repeat do NOT murder your manager... I'm pretty sure you would end up regretting it...lol I find kicking inanimate objects (and by that I do not mean your co-workers) helps when I feel the need to vent some anger. Failing that just bite your tongue, it's only four more days hon...

*Hugs* Please don't kill anyone. Just try to stay calm and concentrate on finishing and getting money. Or failing that what exactly do you have to lose by just walking out?

I have problems biting my tongue when it comes to standing up for myself. If I have screwed up, I admit it and move on. If I haven't and I'm still getting chewed out, or I feel like I am being treated like crap for no reason, I feel the need to tell them and it probably wouldn't be in the nicest way possible. lol *Hugs* Please don't kill anyone. Just try to stay calm and concentrate on finishing and getting money. Or failing that what exactly do you have to lose by just walking out? My dignity, I suppose. One of the guys said on Friday that if his knee hurt as much as mine did that day (old acting injury) and he only had 6 days left, he would have just called in. I just don't want to not show up. You know? Anyway, I am feeling more positive and back to my usual self today. Adam, Zak and I are going out to dinner and then I'm at work for another 8 hours. Fun fun fun. Actually, Mayleene was right, writing did help some last night. Made me focus on something else until I calmed down. I'll have to remember that.

Your dignity? With people you don't even like so probably won't see again? Seriously if it gets to that point again just walk away. It's not worth them stressing you out so much. *Huggles*

I know you are right, really I do. But there is something in me that makes me work as hard as I can at the job I am given for as long as it is mine, even if it is crap. Not to mention, no matter how much they deserve it, I wouldn't want my coworkers to walk out on me so I can't do it to them.

Then stick it out, rant to us and tell her exactly what you think of her when you leave?

That sounds like a beautiful solution, as long as you guys don't mind me complaining about the same things over and over again for four days. lol

Just an update... Two days left and I have yet to murder anyone, though it was a close thing again tonight. 3 glasses of wine, a massage, and playing some online games with Mayday seems to have helped though.

Okay that is just not right. Everytime I have seen the manager I can't stand, I have thought of something else I wanted to say! But then tonight she comes up to me out of the blue and is NICE. She took my trash back to the Hole (what we call the compactor). She chatted with me while I did dishes. Then she made sure I had my first break before she left.
I am still in shock.
Damn her.

You want advice? If you wanna make yourself feel better, pull this little prank... Walk into your work, stand behind someone who is standing in line for whatever reason, nudge the person ahead of you, and when he/she looks at you, start pulling on your gloves and say "This would be a good time to leave... Like, right now...." And viola, loss of business....
Yes? No?

So, how was the last shift? Did you tell them what you think of them? Just think, you never have to set foot in that place again... :-)

I actually called off. How bad am I? lol I realized that I would be working alone for 3 hours so I just called off. Let them make it work. Not to mention my shoulder is very sore for some reason, so the slicer would have about killed me.
