Back when I was pregnant with Jimmy (Fall03-Spring04), I wrote a 3 or 4 chapter CSI Las Vegas lemon (pairing Brass/OFC). If there is any interest, may I post it here in the Lemons thread? I think it was Elo who was concerned about having gajillions of different accounts to keep track of on the Internet. The reason I am asking is it sounds like some of the gals here are stressing due to work/school/illness/life, whathaveyou. TTFN, Di

I say: you can never have too many lemons life is good - chocolate is better - but nothing can beat a good lemon Brass and other fictional character... hmm... i am curious!

Di, dear, I do love you.
I already have gajillions of accounts all over the web, and I certainly don't want anymore.
I think it would be fine to post it in the lemons section, since if it were not a lemon it could be posted in the Nothing to do with Charming Roots section, but we'd prefer all of the lemons to be kept in the password protected board.
I've never seen CSI is it good?

Oh yes, this one (entitled "After") would definitely be classified as NC-17 (adult situations) and should be in the protected lemons thread. It has nothing to do with HP, ADMM or FFPS or any of that good stuff. AND you wouldn't need to go register yet another account and password for yersel'. I enjoy it, very scienc-y. I find myself trying to figure things out as the episode goes along. Others may differ in their views, but CSI-Miami lost me when Speedle got shot, and CSI-NY never held my interest at all. *shrug* I'm also addicted to House MD and Bones for the same scienc-y reasons. Occupational hazard and my students tease me that I can take pretty much any topic in chemistry or biology and link it to one of my 3 shows!

Sciene... *shudders* but I suppose I can put up with it for a lemon. *wink* Feel free to post any lemon in the lemon section. Be sure to mark it in the subject if you can, but at least at the top of your post, so people know it is non-FFPS, non-HP... actually it would probably be easier just to say what you did: CSI Las Vegas lemon (pairing Brass/OFC) or something like that so people know what it is they are getting into before they start reading. You can never have enough lemons. I'm sure you agree! I find it interesting that you can get CSI in the Netherlands but not England. Or can you watch it and you just haven't, Elo?

Oh I can watch it, a lot of people do, I just don't or haven't. I don't know which ones we get though. It confuses me.

I usually only watch LV or Las Vegas, which is the original one so really it is just called CSI, I think, but I only see it if I happen to run across it. I'm not a die hard fan. There is a CSI: New York and CSI: Miami which are basically the same type of show, but the characters and settings (obviously) are different. It is a bit odd. lol

I think CSI: LV is the only one I've never heard of before.

Yep, CSI-LV is the original one. In it's second or third season, it spawned CSI-Miami with a shared case (bad guy drove from Las Vegas to Miami). AND THEN, in it's second or third season, CSI-Miami had a shared case in NYC and spawned CSI-NY. There was speculation as to where to go next. So, yes, this is a lemony story with one character (my fave) from CSI-Las Vegas hooking up with an OFC; I will label it appropriately so folks know what they're getting into. As of right now, it'll be three chapters, all citrus. See you soon, Di ETA: Sprinkles, don't be scared. There's hardly any science in it at all!

Chapter 1 is up in the lemons thread ("After"). Citrus only, no science. Heh.

Did you see the Miami episode where they made it seem like Speed was actually alive? I lost all interest in ever seeing that show again with that episode.

Yes, I did see that one, and although I like the character Eric, they lost me forever. *sigh* Eejits.
It is fun sometimes to go back and watch season 1 episodes when Speedle was so young and yummy, and um, alive.
My other problem with CSI-Miami is the lateness (10 pm Mondays for us). My son (age 3.5) doesn't always understand this whole "sleeping through the night" thing, and 0530 comes earlier and earlier to get us up and ready for school!
