Alright...so everyone here has a busy life with lots of stresses (school, relationships, lack of relationships, children, parents, etc). So let's help each other out and share some stress relieving advice.
What are some ways that you relieve stress? Do you exercise? Read? Write? Meditate? What helps? Do you have any advice for avoiding stress?

Meditate as of recently, though I don't feel destressed.
An early night can work wonders, sometimes.
Ranting/bitching/swearing/losing my temper really work, though not the best solution.
Doing everything at 100 mph really works, because you don't get destressed but you feel like you're getting somewhere, even when you aren't.

When i am really stressed, i usually buy myself some really high calory foods, chocolates, biscuits, mac&cheese and put in a dvd i really love, like Ladies in lavender, the As time goes by series or a Harry Potter movie and just watch. Going to the cinema works wonders as well, but without the food. I read and write as well, but off late, my writing seems to be the thing that causes me stress, so i am taking it a step at the time now Taking little steps and planning things out helps me avoid stressful situations (which doesn't mean i get really nervous before each driving lesson...).

For me stress relief has to come in small doses, otherwise I stress about fitting it into my day. So here is a list of my favorites... - Deep breathing for a couple minutes on my lunch break.
- Playing a song you can sing/scream along with while "rocking out" as my godson would say. I use my Pink, Saving Jane, Barlow Girl, or tobymac cds.
- A good bar of chocolate to savor.
- A long kiss with the person of your choice. ;D
- A walk along the beach (though the ones in Ohio are more mud than sand)
- Calling a friend out of the blue
- Eating pancakes for breakfast, lunch or dinner
- Chatting with ya'll online.
