I consider myself a MMAD (or ADMM, if you prefer) shipper, but will read many other ships, as well, and I think that the FFPS ship is truly sweet and has lots of potential.
I just posted the first installment of a set of drabbles that contain some FFPS-shipping over in the "Somewhat Charming Roots" forum. (I like that you have two categories for non FFPS-specific stories, and I love the names!)
Congrats, everyone, on creating a really nice board. I love the categories -- very in-keeping with the ship, I think -- and the background graphic is great. I wish you a lot of success!

Well, I see that I didn't follow the suggestions for introducing oneself, so here goes another try!
SITE USERNAME: MMADfan REAL (FIRST) NAME OR WHAT YOU WISH TO BE CALLED: "Just call me Madam" (LOL! -- someone once told me that "MMADfan" was too hard to type, so I said, "just call me 'madam'" and it kinda stuck -- Hee!) AGE: Old enough to remember the energy crisis of the 70s, to have seen the first run of "Star Wars" as a teenager, and to remember three VHF channels and one UHF channel . . . and there were only broadcast channels; young enough to be fairly computer savvy, yet old enough that my first computer had a black-and-green screen; when I first went online and used the Internet, there was no Web (horrors!). FAVORITE HP BOOK: I can't choose . . . FAVORITE HP MOVIE: Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban are tied. FAVORITE HP CHARACTER: Albus Dumbledore, followed by Minerva, then Severus, then Hagrid and Lupin. I thought Gilderoy Lockhart was a total hoot, though, and loved Branagh's depiction of him in the movie. I like Harry, Hermione, and Ron in the books, but don't usually like them in fanfiction. *shrugs* FAVORITE HP SHIP: ADMM FAVORITE PASSTIME: writing fanfic? FAVORITE NON-HP BOOK/AUTHOR: It changes depending on my mood, but I'm very fond of Nabokov, particularly Pnin; I also like Anthony Trollope, Jerome K. Jerome, A.A. Milne, Friedrich Duerrenmatt, and Charles deLint. FAVORITE T.V. SHOW: "Ugly Betty," hands down. FAVORITE NON-HP MOVIE: "Rear Window," by Alfred Hitchcock, followed by "Mary Poppins," "Shadowlands," and "Waking Ned Devine," which are tied for second place. FAVORITE NON-HP SHIP: There are non-HP ships? ;D FAVORITE SONG/ARTIST: Too many. I like traditional Irish music and Irish and Scottish rock; and jazz, swing, baroque, and classical . . . . I'm listening to a lot of Joni Mitchell these days. MY LJ, MYSPACE, XANGA, PERSONAL SITE URL(s): I'm old, remember? LOL! Naw, I'm sure plenty of folks my age have them . . . I just got tired of updating my personal site several years ago, and never got into the others. MY YAHOO, AIM, ICQ,etc: Don't really use these much. MY EMAIL: MMADfan (at) yahoo (dot) com (I hate spam!) HOW I FOUND THIS SITE: I am on the ADMM boards. MY BIO, ALL ABOUT ME: I like any animal that doesn't want to eat me, but am especially fond of cats, border collies, and Jack Russells. I like people pretty well, too, most of the time! I've lived in a few different countries and travelled quite a bit in Europe, the UK, and Ireland. I love all kinds of ethnic food, as long as it doesn't have meat in it! ;D
I hope this meets the requirements! ;D

*covers hand with face as I shake my head* I would be the one that had trouble writing mmadfan. lol I'm glad you don't mind madam, because you are stuck with it now. I do like Ugly Betty, but I usually just have to watch the reruns on abc.com in order to catch it. There is an awesome quote about Joni Mitchell from Love Actually that always makes me laugh. Something like "I love her, and true love lasts a lifetime. Joni Mitchell is the woman who taught your cold English wife how to feel." "Did she? Well that's good. I must write to her sometime and say thanks." lol. Anyway, I didn't realize how much I loved Joni Mitchell (or really who she was) until that movie came out. I usually know and love songs, but have no idea who sings them. Anyway, welcome to the site! I'm so excited you are here and sharing your talent with us!

This is sooo weird! I just skimmed through my bio that I did on this page last night, and the system has replaced the second syllable in Alfred Hitch-c -o -c -k's name with "thingy"! Hahahaha! LMAO! How utterly silly! (Hope it doesn't do this in the lemons forum -- yep, strokin' the "thingy" would be funny!!! heee!!!!!)
Have you heard Joni Mitchell's recent-ish album of smoky, bluesy songs? Love it -- great mood music. Very different from her earlier stuff. And "Ugly Betty" is my only "must-see-TV," and I'm always sad when I miss an episode, though I try to catch them on the website (why, oh why don't they have more than four weeks worth of epis??).
-jcmm ("Just call me madam" hahaha!)

I will have to look at the censored list on the board. lol Min once wrote "s n i g g e r" at the ADMM boards and it came up "sn*****" there and it is "sblack person" here. Odd system proboards has. lol

That's really silly. Lol. It needs to be able to recognise when they're part of other words. Tehe.

Okay I think I have the problem fixed. let me know if you a)have something like that happen again and b) see a word that you think is offensive. I can change what is censored. I also fixed Sir Alfred's name.
