This is one of my favorite games from Hufflepuff's Den. Basically you just describe whatever the last person asks you to...example... Min: Describe your best friend.
Me: He is tall enough that when he gives me a big hug, my head fits right under his chin. He is incredibly patient, even during his 8th year in a row of trying to teach me to play tennis. I know that no matter what is happening to me, he is there for me to protect me and guide me through the things I would rather not deal with. I know that I will spend the rest of my life laughing, playing, fighting, smiling, and being with him.
My best friend is my friend of nearly 9 years and boyfriend of 7 1/2 years, Adam. Sorry if that is sickeningly sweet, but it is true. Your turn now! Describe your favorite dessert.

Awww......
I have two favourite desserts, I can't pick between the two. They are both desserts that I have adapted from other peoples recipies and the only two that I can cook well.
The first is champagne and elderflower jelly (jello for you Yanks :-) ) with summer berries, served with creme fraiche. The berries and champagne need to be chilled so the berries don't float to the top when you put them in the jelly. It is really simple to make but looks really impressive.
The second is comfort food, a variation on bread and butter pudding. Buttered croissants spread with ginger jam (jelly, again for the Yanks...lol) and broken into pieces in a baking dish. Then you pour over a mixture of cream and beaten egg, sprinkle with ginger (a little shot of ginger wine in the cream mixture is always a great added extra) and bake untill set. Fantastic served with vanilla ice cream.
So, I would like to know,
What's your favourite place?

My favorite place is definitely my hometown of Springville, Alabama. It's incredibly small, but incredibly close. Like from Cheers -- "Where everybody knows your name." Except everyone also knows everyone's occupation, hair style, and favorite color. lol. I prefer the small towns to big cities, obviously. But it's just really cozy and warm and happy and friendly. Describe your dream job.

Up and at it early each day. Making beds and doing laundry. Scheduling playdates and piano lessons. Trips to the zoo and the doctor, too. Diapers, runny noses, and yucky baby food. My dream job is being a mom. Describe your favorite holiday...

Aw. That's so cute I wanna throw up. I hope you get your wish Sprinks!
My favourite holiday would be... a few summers ago, for Canada day, me and Cody and a few friends took over a friend's cottage for a weekend. It was just the six of us, and so much fun. I think what made it even better, was that Jake forgot the alcohol, so we only had so much, and ended up using it all on the first night. the rest of the weekend was my favourite! We went swimming, and had campfires, and summer love!! my God I love it. It's now a tradition for Canada day weekend!!
Describe your favourite vacation that you've been on. Or that you want to go on.

Hm. . . I'll choose the latter. I would love, love, love to go visit Paris! Oh, the horrible cliche-ed-ness, but it's true! It's such a lovely city. I'm sure when I get married I'll use my superior arm-twisting powers to convince my husband to honeymoon there . . . lol It just seems like a wonderful place ot visit. Describe your attire at the moment.

You know, it is so ironic we just discussed how young the drinking age is in Europe... and you're drunk... Typico, mon petit poulette (as that is your new name now, my little chicken. Even though you're older than me) My favorite song is very upbeat, has the name of my home state in the title, and is nationally recognized in the KFC commercials. Have you guessed? It's... "Sweet Home Alabama"! ;D Describe your hair.

I love that song...It reminds me of my friend Vix.
My hair is about shoulder length and needs cutting. It is dark blond but highlighted much lighter. this is mainly to cover the grey hairs that I've been finding lately... *sobs*
(and little chicken is fine, as long as I get to call you 'mon petit chou-fleur')
Describe your favourite shoes.

My favorite shoes were Airwalks I owned in High School (pre-Adam, so you know it has been forever). They were classic flat tennis shoes, as Airwalks tended to be in those days. The soles were shallow and white. The lashes were also white, until I bought Strawberry Shortcake thick laces to replace them. The best part about these shoes though was the body of the shoe... RED PATENT LEATHER! They were even sparkley. I called them my Dorothy shoes and wore them constantly until I wore a hole in the toe. Even then I refused to get rid of them and they lived in my closet until they were destroyed in the fire... So sad. I loved those shoes! Describe your favorite toy as a child.

My favorite toy was definetely my Sit 'N Spin! Oh God, I loved that thing so much it bordered on obsessivness. It was yellow, with tie dyed colors on the handle that apparently were used to draw children in. My mom eventually had to throw it out because something happened to the handle (it broke off, I think), and I was so sad. Do they even sell Sit 'N Spin's anymore? (my little cabbage flower? Okay, fine with me ) Describe your favorite breakfast food.

(Isn't chou-fleur cauliflower?)
My favourite breakfast food is a sausage butty from college. It's three sausages that atse differently to normal ones we get but they are so good. On a nicely buttered teacake so all of the butter melts and just... Oooh. No tomato or brown sauce, it just ruins it. And it costs £1.05.
Describe the room you are in.

Yes cauliflower...
I am in my bedroom, sitting on the long awaited bed. It's painted blue and the bed linen is blue and white. There are 2 windows and the sun is shining straight in so the room looks even lighter than normal.
Describe your perfect night in.

Easy with the French people, you're starting to make my eye twitch. lol Too bad I can't impress you with my sign language. it just doesn't translate to this medium as well. The perfect night in would have to begin with Adam and I watching CNN, Fox News (always good for a laugh) or CSpan. We get in the most interesting "discussions" about politics and the news. (AKA I get worked up, he laughs, I laugh, then he takes his turn getting worked up. lol) This, while making dinner. Our favorite Ceaser Salad with Grilled Chicken breasts served with my special hot sauce. Pepsi to drink and Ben and jerry's ice cream for dessert. After the news and dinner, we cuddle on the couch (me under a blanket because I am perpetually cold) and watch TV, staying up to see Craig Ferguson (though I will always swear I just want to see his monologue, and then get sucked into the show. . Describe your perfect night out.

Aw that's awesome Sprinkles.
The perfect night out would be going to Wendy's for dinner, taking it to the beach, and swimming under the stars with friends, or even my boyfriend. Then after, we go to a late movie and possibly hit a party.
Describe that outfit you own that makes you feel you're the hottest person on the planet! (everyone has one!!)

When I was in Prague my friends Danielle and Chase, and I spent one of our days getting lost in the city. We found a whole bunch of fun shopping centers and a neat little sandwich place for lunch. Anyway, Chase made me buy this shirt that is my favorite "boobtastic" shirt. It's somewhat sheer, a pretty red, low v-cut, and cap sleeves. I wear it with my red "melon" cami (the nickname my grandma gave for the tank because it has molded cups and she said they looked big enough to hold canteloupes...she likes to mock my chest. lol) and jeans with my black leather boots that have the really high heels. I will admit I don't wear the outfit often because I usually am more of a poloshirt and flipflops girl, but it is a confidence booster when the guys and gals look at you and not your size 4 friends. lol Describe the same thing, because I'm interested in other people's outfits.

You know, I totally know what you mean about people mocking your chest. Cody and I got these graphic t-shirts on it, one that has an outline of Saskatchewan on it and says 'not everything on the praries are flat' and another that has an outline of BC on it and says 'i'm pround of these moutains.' and that was also from family. Anyway, I would have to say my hottie outfit would be.... my red black polka dot dress that cuts low at my chest but ends at around my knees. It ties up around the waist (the natural waist not hips) at the back, and it goes amazingly well with my peep-toe heels. lol Sprinks, this also makes me get the stares instead of our size 4 friends. Um.. I'm gonna say describe the same thing, so Sprinks can see more outfits

Oooh. My very sexy silver stilleto heels, with my cut off black jeans that are slimming And it would have to be my black dress for over which also ties around my back at my waist. With no jacket but silver jewellery I love that outfit. And yes I am big on black, it's slimming. Describe the same thing...

hmmm...I don't really have one. But my favourite outfit (whether it looks good or not) is my flared jeans worn with a brown, yellow and orange flower print top (sounds lovely I know, but is just as 'boobtastic' as Mayday's) and flipflops.
Describe the same thing...wouldn't want to break with tradition now

Flip flops are amazing, aren't they? lol. Mine would be... my grey track shorts that are slightly too big, my tight tank top with my string bikini top underneath, and the ever so popular flipflops - the ones with froggies on them!! lol. Shall we continue with this? I like it. Good idea Crys! lol

Well I don't know if anyone is left to participate in this, so I will put another outfit. lol My bright green St. Patrick's Day -yes, I'm Irish- tanktop (also "boobtastic" but that isn't hard to do for me, unfortunately for my back and shoulders. lol) layered with a darker green tank and my grey "artsy" sweatshirt. It is a terry grey with really long sleeves that are wonderfully soft. It's a low V-cut and just covers my shoulders before going straight across my back. So basically my chest is open and my 4 leaf clover locket necklace is a must. with jeans and flipflops. I feel comfortable and like how I look. What a combination! Describe your favorite halloween costume...

lol I love Halloween!!! Um. I actually have a tie. Is that allowed? Oh well, yell at me if it's not. 1) When me and Crys wore our rugby shirt dresses with THING 1 and THING 2 written on pieces of paper and taped to our backs. The blue lipstick was so hard to get off.
2) When I went as a woodland nymph Charmed style. I wore a short, flowy green dress, with a flowered halo type thing on my head, and went in my bare feet. It was kind of a just-there type of dress, if that makes sense.
Describe your favourite song.

This is hard, but I will go for my favorite song that makes people say, "Laura, you like that? Really?" It has a nice beat, is pitched in my natural range so it is easy to sing, and has lyrics that make me laugh. Chloroform the One You Love by Flickerstick is just too much fun not to love. Not to mention the memories attached. My old boss purchased that cd for me because we would sit around the sewing room singing it and the other tracks in 3 part harmony with the vocalist. Good times. Describe your favorite condiment...

Condiment? that's really random. I love it. Um.... it's kinda sweet, kinda tangy sometimes. I like the purple ones because it makes my tongue go kinda purple. It goes with pretty much anything - eww except for cereal. grosss. KETCHUP!!

I have only one pet, a really yappy dog that barks when the curtains so much as move. She has black fur, and she can stand up when you hold food in front of her! lol. My brother named her Mowgli, (guess what movie he was watching that day) and she annoys me to no end But I have to love her. Describe your favorite drink.

My favourite drink is alcoholic, you're surprised I can tell It's vodka and coke. It is the best drink in the known, and unknown universe, I love good vodka that has a nice taste when mixed with a nice soft drink which can only be coke. It really has to be coca cola and not pepsi, and it just blends so nicely. I can drink off it slow enough to enjoy myself but not so slow that I may as well not bother. And vodka takes the sweet edge of the coke. Oooh I could drink one now, but we have no smirnoff vodka I always forget to post a question... I was too busy drooling over vodka and coke. Describe your most important possession...

It is small and gold-ish... I say ish cuz it's fake gold.... It hangs around my neck quite often and contains images of my mother and father... It's a locket my mom got me for Valentine's Day several years ago,.... I think it was in eighth grade, though it might have been ninth,.... But I'm guessing it was more likely eighth...

Hmmm...difficult one. There's not much I am afraid of.
It has to be either Snakes.., I cant stand the things, never trust anything that moves without legs.
or flying. I absolutly hate it...not that I let it stop me from traveling.
Or not having my friends. My friends are like my family and to be without them (no matter how far away they are) would be terrible.
Describe your favourite country...

Well I haven't travelled much (just the Czech Republic, USA, and Canada), unlike our Jaye friend, but my favorite country I have been to is the Czech Republic. It is simply wonderful. Excellent food, wonderful beer, fun dance clubs, beautiful architecture, so much history, amazing theatre, what more could you want? Not to mention my favorite memory of singing Carmen, Ohio (OSU's Alma Mater) as the sun came up over the Charles Bridge. It was beautiful. I want to go back. Describe your favorite childhood memory...

I was 12 does that still count?
My first concert, Guns N' Roses. I went with 3 friends and we somehow ended up right at the front in the mosh pit (we followed an older couple so people must have thought we were their kids) how we weren't crushed I don't know. I remember looking behind me and seeing 80,000 people (the population of my little island now) all waving their arms and chanting, it gave me goosebumps.
