Because I love quoting song lyrics. The idea is to post a line or more from a song you like/are listening to or something. It's from that same forum, I'm not sure how this will take off, it was really popular on the first forum I ever played it on.
We can speak louder than ignorance 'Cause we speak in silence every time our eyes meet

Oooh, Willie Nelson right?
I came across, a fallen tree I felt the branches of it looking at me Is this the place, we used to love Is this the place that I've been dreaming of

Isn't that by Keane? I think I've heard it before.
She's cold and she's cruel But she knows what she's doin' Knows just what to say So my whole day is ruined

Yeah, Willie Nelson, I love that song, and keane.
Wait till tomorrow, you'll be fine And it's gone to the dogs in my mind I always hear them When the dead of night, comes calling Save me from this fight But they can never wrong this right

I have no idea... I didn;t think I would. Is guessing part of the game?
Everytime you take a sip In this smoky atmosphere You press that bottle to your lips And I wish I was your beer.

No, you don't have to guess...and I have no idea what the last 3 were from.
I can be green, I can be brown, I can be violet sky I can be purple, I can be hurtful, I can be anything you like

No, guessing isn't part of the game, although you can guess. I can't find my ipod, so I can't think of any lyrics. Erm...
I heard you say sometimes you fall Into the arms of no one at all

Can we say who they are by or what they are from? It's kind of making the historical-research part of my brain twitch. lol
I loved a man Truly I did When he would touch me I'd act like a love hungry kid Isn't this better?
Passion is fine but passion burns fast Passion's design seems never to last Better a match, better a blend Who needs a lover? I need a friend.
Now I am calm, safe and serene. Heartache and hurt are no longer a part of the scene Isn't this better? The way it should be. Better for him, Much better for him And, oh, so much better for me.
Selected lyrics from the song that came on when I clicked on this thread, Isn't This Better from And the World Goes 'Round

I used to trust the media to tell me the truth (there was no truth) But now I see the payoffs everywhere I look Who so we trust when everyone's a crook Revolution calling, revolution calling, revolution calling you There's a revolution calling, revolution calling If you want change, you'd better make it happen

We cannot separate, cause you're part of me and though you're invisible I trust the unseen.
I cried out with no reply, And I can't feel you by my side, So I'll hold tight to what I know. You're here, and I'm never alone.

Life unwinds like a cheap sweater But since I gave up hope I feel a lot better And the truth gets blured like a wet letter But since I gave up hope I feel a lot better While the world winds down to a final prayer Nothing soothes quicker than complete despair I predict by dinner I won't even care But since I gave up hope I feel a, a lot better

I'm including the entire song because I need all of it to deal with those lyrics, Pops. How can you listen to that stuff? I expect everyone of my crowd to make fun Of my proud protestations of faith in romance, And they'll say I'm naïve as a babe to believe Every fable I hear from a person in pants.
Fearlessly I'll face them and argue their doubts away, Loudly I'll sing about flowers in spring, Flatly I'll stand on my little flat feet and say Love is a grand and a beautiful thing! I'm not ashamed to reveal The world famous feelin' I feel.
I'm as corny as Kansas in August, I'm as normal as blueberry pie. No more a smart little girl with no heart, I have found me a wonderful guy!
I am in a conventional dither, With a conventional star in my eye. And you will note there's a lump in my throat When I speak of that wonderful guy!
I'm as trite and as gay as a daisy in May, A cliché comin' true! I'm bromidic and bright As a moon-happy night Pourin' light on the dew!
I'm as corny as Kansas in August, High as a flag on the Fourth of July! If you'll excuse an expression I use, I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love with a wonderful guy!
I'm as trite and as gay as a daisy in May, A cliché comin' true! I'm bromidic and bright As a moon-happy night Pourin' light on the dew!
Girls I'm as corny as Kansas in August, High as a flag on the Fourth of July!
Nellie: If you'll excuse an expression I use, I'm in love,
Girls I'm in love,
Nellie: I'm in love,
Girls I'm in love,
Nellie: I'm in love,
Girls I'm in love,
Nellie: I'm in love,
Girls I'm in love,
Nellie: I'm in love,
Girls I'm in love,
Nellie: I'm in love,
Girls I'm in love,
Nellie and Girls I'm in love with a wonderful guy! ...no really, I am!

Every whisper Of every waking hour I'm Choosing my confessions Trying to keep an eye on you Like a hurt lost and blinded fool, fool Oh no, I've said too much I set it up Consider this Consider this The hint of the century Consider this The slip that brought me To my knees failed What if all these fantasies Come flailing around Now I've said too much I thought that I heard you laughing I thought that I heard you sing I think I thought I saw you try

Oh come let's sing Ohio's praise And songs to Alma Mater raise. While our hearts rebounding thrill With joy which death alone can still. Summer's heat and winter's cold The seasons pass, the years will roll Time and Change will surely show How firm thy friendship, O-HI-O!!!
(Adam graduated today with his B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience, so I had to celebrate with Carmen Ohio... a song that always makes me tear everytime I sing it, whether it is at the end of an amazing game of football or at sunrise on the streets of Prague)

Don't dream too far Don't lose sight of who you are Don't remember that rush of joy He could be that boy I'm not that girl I've got the song now Sprinkles, Mayday and I've fallen completely in love with it It's so sad though.
