Genre: Humor (at last!)
Rating: I think no one will be scandalized here, like 'Mona was, so... E for everyone!
Disclaimer: I do not own JKR's characters, but Roos is not hers!
Title: Something to forget

It was the same old story, every night. Pomona sighed.
"I miss him, Fil."
"'Mona, I would like you to remember that it was you who wrote to your friend Roos to let Neville get that job in Holland! And it was really a good opportunity. He is happy now, he told you in his last letter... We will visit him on Christmas' holidays, my love."

"It's really a long time"
"Well, it's not my fault their Ministry has put such restrictions about Apparating there... but even if it hadn't, you're not good at that and I would worry very much if you splinched!"

***

But, she did not give up.
"Here, I found it! You must say the destination while you touch the object with the top of your wand. Be sure there is no risk of misunderstanding..."
- PORTUS!
She thought there was no way to make a mistake. The blue light showed it was all right. She was so excited she just could not wait to use the Portkey she had just created.

***

"Honey, what happened? You look shocked!"
"I am shocked, Fil. I saw something that I shouldn't have seen! I thought I set a Portkey to travel to Roos Slagroom's office, but maybe I mispronounced it..."

"Roos Slagroom's office? Do you mean..."
"Yes! I found myself in Horace's room, and he was taking a nap, and he was... almost... naked!"
Filius began laughing, and seemed like he just could not stop. "Eek! Darling, what a scene!"

"It's not funny! I had never seen a naked man, excepting you..." she said, blushing.
"Does it really trouble you?" he asked gently, raising his wand.
"Yes, Fil, please!"
She closed her eyes.
"Ready? One, two... OBLIVIATE!"

---------------
Author's note: Thanks to Sprinks who betaed this, and to Pinkie who suggested me the surname "Slagroom" (which means "whipped cream" in Dutch... it's soooo funny!). Happy birthday, Daphne! ;) (terribly ahead of time, but I could not resist. You know that May 5 is also my engagement anniversary? *blushes*)

I love it! I thought it was funny and sweet and very well done. Having restrictions on Apparating - now that could be just one of theose bureaucratic things that actually are going on here ;)

Happy anniversary, Saki! May 5th is a good day - isn't it? Liberation Day here in Holland and cinqo de mayo in Mexico, your engagement and my birthday: people: drinks are on me!

Thank you for your reviews. Anyway, I did not mean that Horace is ugly... I love him almost like I love Fil. Simply, 'Mona is very prissy about some kind of things...

YAY! What a wonderful response, Saki! This is so funny. I think I would need to be obliviated also, if I saw someone partially naked whom I did not mean to. Can I sign up to know Fil so he can do that if I need him too? ::)

Although, I definitely would not need to be obliviated if The Rock was involved in any way. *tremble & drool* That would definitely be a memory I would pull out and place in a pensieve to savor over and over. :o

Cheers!
